DOLPHIN SPORT ADVENTURE - The Team

Lee Boon Leong, or known affectionately as “Dolphin” Lee among friends, is a seasoned scuba instructor and holds the distinguished rank of PADI IDC Staff Instructor. He started his scuba diving experience at the age of 25 and became an instructor 5 years later. Today, he has logged over 800 dives and has taught hundreds of students. In the year 2007 alone, Lee successfully certified more than 150 new divers. He is also an Emergency First Response (EFR) Instructor Trainer, an Enriched Air Instructor, and a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor.

In addition to diving, Lee is also active in swimming and life saving. He started teaching swimming in 1995, currently has 15 swimming instructors working under him and caters for more than 400 students a year. He is a member of the Life Saving Society of Malaysia (LSSM) and holds the International Life Saving (ILS) Instructor certification from Belgium as well as the Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (ASUM) Coaching Level 2 certification.

Because of his unique blend of experience in diving, swimming and life saving, coupled with his affable personality, Lee is highly regarded in the industry and is well respected by his students.

Young and enthusiastic Cyrena Yong is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor and an experienced diver with more than 400 logged dives. As Dive Center Manager, her responsibilities are to organize domestic and international diving trips for all level of divers and to advise customers on scuba gear and equipment.

In addition to teaching scuba diving, Cyrena also teaches swimming and she holds the Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (ASUM) Coaching Level 1 certification. She is also a member of the of Life Saving Society of Malaysia (LSSM) and the International Life Saving (ILS) Federation from Belgium.

Shaiful left a cushy job as a corporate coolie to pursue a career in diving. When he's not working or teaching, you can find him deep underwater searching for mermaids.

His motto is 'Keep It Simple', so prefers the minimalistic approach to diving (and most other things in life). He's an amatuer radio operator with the callsign 9W2TKO and also a DIY enthusiast. The next time you go diving and spot a diver with bits and pieces of home-made gear hanging off his BCD then it's probably him.

Sachi is a unique diver who has been skin diving for 20 years. Due to her 'hunting' experience as a skin diver, she is good at finding small sea creatures. She often acts as a scout for underwater photographers.

Being a yoga instructor, she knows how to breathe efficiently and always save a lot of air! During dive trips, you can enjoy 'Underwater Yoga' and 'Beach Yoga' with her.
