Divers do more than just absorb nitrogen and chase nudibranches - we also like to ponder about the mysteries of diving. Take for example this mind-boggling conundrum thought up by our general manager:
Lee: Let's say a student flies in from Penang for confine water training and he spends several hours in the pool at a maximum depth of 2 meters. Can he fly back to Penang immediately after that or must he wait a minimum of 12 hours?
Cyrena: *shaking her head* Lee, why do you always think of questions like this?
We will never know for sure until PADI conducts research for extremely shallow dives. To be on the safe side, follow the recommendations on your dive computer or wait 12 hours before flying.
And until we have a definite answer, enjoy these not-so-head-splitting articles written by our divers for divers.
